Ashwasa Bhavan is a special school for children with mental disabilities between the age group of 5 – 25 years. It aims at getting them into the mainstream of society through providing security in life and special education. This charitable institution is managed by the Malankara Catholic Diocese of Pathanamthitta and is moulded into a haven for these children by His Beatitude Moran Mor Baselios Cleemis Catholicos, the Major Archbishop of the Malankara Catholic Church. Now, Most Rev. Dr. Yoohanon Mar Chrysostom, the Bishop of Pathanamthitta is the president and patron of the institution. It is an institution registered under the Travancore – Cochin Literary Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act XII of 1955 (Reg. No. P-23/08)
